HugoFox.com Chairman Presents Awards to Chilbolton FC

Web-based company HugoFox.com renewed their sponsorship of Chilbolton FC this weekend, with Chairman Michael Thompson presenting the annual awards at the Abbots Mitre on Saturday.

Following the club’s AGM, where manager Sam Horne congratulated the team on their success, he went on to discuss plans for next season, including refurbishing the changing facilities, new kit designs and the possibility of arranging a charity tournament for local clubs and businesses. The team and sponsors then enjoyed a slap-up meal before the presentation began.

Awards included the Golden Boot Trophy, for top goal scorer Pete Southworth; the Players’ Player of the Year, which went to Club Captain Kevin Hide; Clubman Of The Year was awarded to Steve Curtis and the Chairman’s Player of the Year, The Bill Bryant Trophy, went to Luke Donovan.

Michael Thompson said: “HugoFox.com is delighted to support local sports teams such as Chilbolton FC. There’s a great atmosphere at the club and we have lots of plans for the season ahead, including some charity matches which will help bring local communities and businesses together – which is what our website is all about.” (more…)
