Fancy hobnobbing with the likes of David Beckham, Serena Williams, Usain Bolt? Yes, well, wouldn’t we all… But for one lucky individual, this could (almost) become a reality.
HugoFox.com is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to help us find and support the sporting stars of tomorrow, with a position on the team having opened for a Sports Co-ordinator to manage our 25 teams and individuals across Hampshire, Berkshire and beyond.
At HugoFox.com, we believe in ‘keeping it local’, which is why we strive to invest in our local communities wherever possible. Rather than blowing our advertising budget on newspaper and radio ads, we put our funding into local sports teams and backing solo sports stars who show incredible determination to succeed in their field. We have been flooded with applications over the past year and have worked with some incredibly passionate and talented people across the South – and now we need someone to look after our connections with them all, ensuring that our sports budget is being shared between those who really want to make a difference.
With teams including football, basketball, cricket, tennis and volleyball as well as water polo, horse riding and junior triathlon, to date we have committed over £20,000 towards helping these clubs to continue thriving within their areas. Our efforts have led to affiliations with the likes of JEM Tennis, Calcot Hawks, Basingstoke Volleyball Club, Tilehurst Panthers and Hamble Sea Scouts, as well as supporting sports events in Hampshire and Oxfordshire such as the Jamie G Sporting Trust Family Day and the Dyslexia Research Trust Fun Run. Many of the teams we support play a vital role in keeping children and adults fit, involved and encouraging social interaction – and all of us at HugoFox.com strongly believe in the value of such endeavours.
Does this all ring bells? Sound like a role which could be right up your street? Then please do jog along to our main site to view the job spec in full and if you think you might like to be considered, whiz across an email. This role is mostly home-based, meaning that the co-ordination could be done from pretty much anywhere in the South – all you’d need is a computer, the internet and your own set of wheels.
So, you may not find yourselves mingling with super sports stars and Olympic athletes; but you might find yourself making the world of difference to hundreds of keen children, teenagers and adults who will relish the extra funding, the publicity, and the opportunity for them to shine. Now THAT’S impressive stuff.
