Rustington Otters U13s reign victorious after 16 straight wins!
At HugoFox News, we’re pleased as punch to announce that sponsored team Rustington Otters U13s have reigned triumphant: having played in Division 1 of the Saywell International (Arun & Chichester) Youth Football League, the players have won this years’ title with a playing record of played 16, won 16 with no draws or losses during the season. Wow, indeed!
It is a great achievement for the team who started the season with two players from last season’s team leaving, one of which joined Brighton’s academy and one player out injured with a broken wrist meaning that for a number of games there had only 11 fit players available. However, soon enough new players joined the team to bring the squad back to 14 with the team playing great football week in, week out, and ending the league season with 16 straight wins. These victories have included some great games against Barnham Blue and Worthing United.
The coaching team of Stuart Hack, Pedro Wroth and Julian Ball have been constantly impressed throughout the season with the effort, attitude and ability of all the boys.
Big congratulations to all the team members: Rio Imbimbo, Tom Jarman, Edward Williams, Ben Kydd, Patrick Webber, Marshall Ball, Michael Baird, Liam Reynolds, Luis-Tijan Sparks, Scott Buchanan, Danny Thompson, Cameron Young, Taylor Stephens and Barton Buss. You’ve done us proud, boys!
