The Tilehurst Panthers ladies show off their new kit!
Sporting their new HugoFox.com kit, we’re delighted to report the Tilehurst Panthers got the 2011/2012 season off to a promising start, despite some rather windy conditions to contend with at Saturday’s match against The Wargrave Hawks.
The game started very well with the girls exhibiting fantastic passing and movement. Their tactics paid off after just two minutes when Katie Evans put Tilehurst 1-0 up, and within seconds Alice Haley doubled their lead following another great passing move.

them at bay. However, Tilehurst continued their good form in the second half, and Katie Evans got her second of the game to make it 3-0 with a cute finish in off the post.
Many congratulations to the Panthers for their great start to the season, and to Emily Griffiths who deservedly won player of the match after a superb performance.
With the team preparing for a quarter final cup game this weekend coming … it’ll be a tough match but fingers crossed some more good news soon.
